Terms of Service

Terms of Service – Find The Other Box

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Find The Other Box (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, which are incorporated by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1) The Service

Find The Other Box helps liquidation resellers connect to complete multi-box sets by providing tools to create listings, search inventory, and message other users.

We are not the seller of items listed by users. Unless we explicitly say otherwise, any transaction arranged through the Service is between users.

2) Eligibility and your account

You agree that:

  • You will provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • You will keep your login credentials secure.
  • You will not use the Service for unlawful activity or to violate these Terms.

3) Display names and identity

The Service may allow you to choose whether to show your real name or your handle/username in certain areas (including listings and within the platform). You are responsible for the display settings you choose.

Email addresses are not displayed to other users.

4) Listings and user content

You are responsible for all content you upload or submit, including listings, photos, descriptions, box numbers/metadata, and messages (“User Content”).

When you post a listing, you represent that:

  • You have the right to sell the item and the right to post the content you upload.
  • Your listing is accurate and not misleading (including box numbers, condition, and what is included).
  • Your listing does not violate any laws or third-party rights (including intellectual property rights).

5) Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, discriminate, or use hate speech.
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent what you have.
  • Post illegal, stolen, or counterfeit goods.
  • Attempt fraud, scams, or deceptive practices.
  • Use pressure tactics to force payment or action.
  • Spam users or misuse messaging.
  • Interfere with the Service, attempt unauthorized access, or bypass restrictions.

6) Messaging, attachments, and reporting

The Service may allow users to communicate via in-app chat and share photos/attachments.

  • You are responsible for what you send, and you agree not to send prohibited content, spam, or harassment.
  • Users may report accounts, listings, or messages through in-app reporting tools.
  • We may review reported content and take action (including removing content, limiting features, or suspending accounts) to enforce these Terms and the Community Guidelines and to keep the marketplace safe.

7) Transactions between users (off-platform)

Find The Other Box does not currently process user-to-user checkout.

If you choose to buy, sell, trade, ship, or meet for pickup based on interactions through the Service, you understand that:

  • The transaction is between you and the other user, not Find The Other Box.
  • You are responsible for verifying item details (including box numbers, completeness, and condition).
  • You are responsible for agreeing on price, shipping/pickup terms, tracking, insurance, returns, and dispute resolution.
  • You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws (including taxes and shipping requirements).

8) Content moderation and enforcement

We do not guarantee that all content will be reviewed before it is posted. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend/terminate accounts when we believe it is necessary to:

  • Enforce these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
  • Respond to fraud, abuse, or safety concerns.
  • Comply with legal obligations.
  • Protect the rights, safety, and security of users or the Service.

9) Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. We will post updates on this page and update the Effective Date. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
